In Deuteronomy 16, we see Israel commanded to keep three great festivals—Passover, Weeks, and Booths—each a rhythm of remembrance and joy. Worship was never empty-handed but always a response to grace. The chapter ends with a charge to pursue justice, showing that true worship and righteous living go hand in hand.

My family celebrates all three of these festivals: the Passover, the Feast of Weeks, and the Feast of Tabernacles. I see Deuteronomy 16 (and other passages in the Torah) as you described them: "Moses stresses that these festivals were not optional traditions but divine commands. They kept Israel’s story alive in their hearts and homes, reminding them of redemption, provision, and dependence on God."
Acknowledging these commanded feast days has brought a great deal of order and blessing to our lives! And to read the NT and discover that Yahushua, the disciples, and Paul all kept these feast days as well... Halleluyah!
