Uzziah’s long and successful reign ends in tragedy when strength gives way to pride. He crosses a boundary God reserved for the priests, refuses correction, and is struck with leprosy. His story reminds us that neither authority, influence, nor success ever places anyone above God’s commands.

It is much better to learn from the lives of others than through our own mistakes and weaknesses, but that is exceedingly rare. I have learned through a difficult journey of faith in Jesus that God’s rules ALWAYS APPLY! Reaching our personal bottom of our ability, we have the promises of God that He will not let us be tempted beyond our ability, but is faithful when we are not. This is why the Glory always belongs to God and why Jesus did it all for us by becoming a man in faithfully obedience to the Father through His personal hell, and then the agony of the Cross. He knew we couldn’t stand the worst storms from the spirit world plus the storms of being a citizen on earth. 🙏🩸
Amen! Keep me humble ‘O Lord!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
